Frisbee Art

Painting on the basketball court concrete is a favorite activity of many of our guests. There is something quite enjoyable about adding color to a typically grey slab of rock. The fact that it’ll fade then disappear doesn’t seem to matter. We pull out our tempera paints, plastic plates for palettes and various brushes. I usually fill up a bucket or two with water for easy clean up. The kids usually start off with brushes but then soon into the activity hands and feet are covered with paint as well.

Some of my girls decided to start throwing the plates like Frisbees and learned that the paint makes pretty patterns.
